San Salvatore in Lauro is a Baroque-style church located in the heart of Rome's historic center, near Piazza Navona. The church was built in the 16th century on the site of an earlier church dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua. The current church was designed by the architect Ottaviano Mascherino and completed in the early 17th century.

The interior of San Salvatore in Lauro is richly decorated with frescoes and stucco work by notable artists such as Guido Reni and Giovanni Battista Gaulli. The church's main altar features a 17th-century painting by Carlo Maratta depicting the Madonna and Child with St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist. Other notable works of art in the church include a painting of St. Joseph by Giovanni Lanfranco and a fresco of the Annunciation by Giuseppe Passeri.

San Salvatore in Lauro is also home to several chapels, including the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, which features a beautiful tabernacle designed by Bernini, and the Chapel of St. Anthony of Padua, which contains a 16th-century fresco depicting the saint.
