Dekabristov Garden
The Decembrists Garden is located on the island of the same name in St. Petersburg. It was formed around a stele designed by architect A. Bobrov and installed in 1926 on the alleged burial site of five Decembrists, although there is no documented evidence of this. The garden itself was laid out only three decades later, in 1957, on the site of a vacant lot between the stela and Malaya Nevka.
More recently, the park has undergone a global reconstruction, as a result of which it has been cleared of old and dry trees, have been laid out flower beds and flowerbeds, as well as planted new plants and renovated walkways.
