Among the numerous monuments in Moscow, there are some that you least expect to see on the streets of the capital. One of these unusual sculptures is located near the entrance to the building of the Moscow Economic Institute, where the main characters of the film Operation Y and Shurik's Other Adventures studied.

Shurik and Lida, as in the film, read the same synopsis for two. However, modern Moscow Shurik is to the right of Lida, while in the film he walked on the left side.

The monument was erected near the entrance to the university building on Student's Day, January 25, 2012. By the way, the opening was attended by actress Natalia Selezneva, who played the role of Lidochka in the film.

It is noteworthy that this is not the only monument to the heroes of Gaidai's comedy in Russia: frozen Shurik and Lida patronize students in Krasnodar as well.
