reconciliation bench
A bench was installed on Kadashevskaya Embankment near [Luzhkov Bridge] (https://kudago.com/msk/place/luzhkov-most/). This place was not chosen by chance: the Luzhkov Bridge has long been popularly called the “Bridge of Lovers”.
The reconciliation bench was invented and implemented by architect Alexander Kolesnikov and designer Georgy Nepomnyashchikh. It is designed in such a way that people sitting on it will inevitably snuggle up to each other. Wings on the sides and halos above your head seem to complement the idyll of angelic reconciliation.
Interestingly, an old gun was used to make the bench, which belonged to the French in the war of 1812. It was presented by a Moscow collector, who decided that the old tool could perfectly serve eternal values — love, family and loyalty.
If you quarreled with your loved one, then the reconciliation bench is exactly the place where you can forget about all the troubles and grievances. It is simply impossible to continue to be offended by a loved one and loved one, sitting in an embrace.
