The Reichstag Building (Reichstagsgebäude) is the seat of the German Bundestag (federal parliament) and one of Berlin's most historic landmarks. Constructed between 1884 and 1894, it was designed by architect Paul Wallot in a neoclassical style. The Reichstag has witnessed many pivotal moments in German history, including the proclamation of the Weimar Republic in 1918 and the infamous Reichstag fire in 1933.

After falling into disuse during the Cold War, the building underwent extensive renovations led by architect Sir Norman Foster, who added a striking glass dome. This dome offers panoramic views of Berlin and symbolizes the transparency of the democratic process.
