Adam and Eve Fountain

In the center of the fountain are figures of Adam and Eve, who sit on a tempter snake under the crown of a tree of paradise. By the way, the tree is covered with figures of birds of paradise and sinful fruits. Along the perimeter of the site there are apple fountains, also made very skillfully.

Romantic lighting is included in the fountain, so it is crowded in the evenings. Before the revolution, the church of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa was located on this site, so the fountain, which reproduces the key biblical plot, can be considered significant.

The letters on the plaque with the name of the sculptural group are so close to each other that many believe that Adamiev is the sculptor's last name. In fact, the author of the fountain is Maria Levinskaya, a sculptor who managed to bring romance and heavenly motifs into everyday life. Her daughter and daughter's friend posed for Levinskaya.
